The goal was to create a series of three posters detailing popular typefaces throughout history. The three typefaces were very different, so color and other design elements were employed to create a cohesive look. The limited color palette of purple and orange shades allowed for unity while honoring the design of each distinct period of history. The use of oversized text as a background illustration and similar angles also helped to maintain harmony.
