The goal was to research and design a four page magazine spread about a typeface while utilizing its style and the styles of design in the era of its popularity. Univers has had a significant amount of popularity in Swiss Design, so that style was utilized in this design. Since overly simplistic magazine spreads can appear text-heavy or visually harsh, special care was taken to limit that. Interesting shapes, large quotes, and illustrative elements were used to break up text, and the color purple was selected due to its vibrancy and softness.
